With the passage of LB471 and subsequent signing into law, community pharmacies in Nebraska, mail service pharmacies licensed to dispense in Nebraska, and all other licensed dispensers providing medications to Nebraskans will be required to report controlled substance data to the state PDMP starting January 1, 2017. Please review the updated dispenser’s implementation guide for information for how to submit the appropriate data from all required facilities.  Dispensers will be able to begin testing the submission of their data in October 2016. Upon completion of successful testing, the system will be available to accept production data in November 2016.
